Today has been a great day back at school! I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! We have a lot going on this week in school. Today I send home the first list of spelling words. The test is next Wednesday, so be sure to study!! We also starting our science unit today. We are investigating rocks and earth materials. Today the kids had a good time observing rocks and seeing what happens when they put them in water. They learned what a
geologist is too.

We will continue investigating rocks and earth materials tomorrow. I hope to have more pictures to post. The class is doing a wonderful job of following class procedures. Encourage them to keep up the good work. They are feeling up their compliment jar fast!!
