The guidance lesson for this week was fire safety. To learn about fire safety the kids visited the NMB Fire House. The fire department brought it to the school and spent about 30 minutes talking to the kids about fire safety. They learned if they catch on fire to "Stop, Drop, and Roll." They also learned that smoke goes up so to always get low if they cannot get out. The firefighters put on all of their gear, so the kids would know what they look like. They wanted to be sure they know they are just regular people under the suits and should not be scared if they ever see them dressed in their uniform. Here are some pictures from today's visit.
