Jingle Bells

Jingle Bells is the name of the special elf Santa sent us. We came in the room this morning to find a beautifully wrapped gift with a letter addresses to Mrs. Todd's Class. The letter explained that the elf was helping Santa keep track of the good boys and girls. He will fly to the North Pole each night to report on how our class is behaving at school and home. The letter also explained that Jingle Bells likes to have fun at night and may try some silly things. The class chose the name for our elf and they were super excited.

Reminders

If you plan to order books from Scholastic, it is due on Friday to me. You can also order online with the code I sent home. This is the last week of our canned food drive. Please keep sending in your non perishable items!

Election Day at NMBP

Today was Election Day at NMBP. The whole school participated in the mock election. They did an awesome job and were so excited. WPDE came out to get a shot of the event. We will also be in The Sun News and The NMB Times. Here are some pictures of our class voting.

Coming up Monday...

Monday we are holding a mock election at school for the kids to vote for president. We will be wearing blue jeans with the colors red, white, and blue. Please help support this event and dress your child in these colors! We have spent some time in the last 2 weeks learning about the election process. I encourage you to talk with your child about the upcoming election. They will be in 5th grade the next time we elect a new president...seems unreal! Bowling

We had a blast bowling on October 24th! The kids were so tired when we came back to school. Thank you to Mr. Jarrell and Mrs. Duelley for helping chaperone this field trip. The kids loved having you along! Here are somne pictures for you to enjoy!
