Nickels and Pennies

Our class has been learning to count nickels and pennies. They are doing a really good job and love some of the games we play. One of the games they learned to play is Penny, Nickel Exchange. They have a pile of pennies and nickels and work with a partner. They roll a die and take that many pennies. When they have 5 pennies they have to say "exchange" and switch for a nickel.
